Manrakhan Mahto B Ed College, Mesra Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College Medical Camps/checkups are arranged at regular intervals in the college for medical check-ups of the students. Experienced Doctors are invited for the check-up. The medical inspection report is kept, and a duplicate copy is given to the students.

The College has a well-defined set of vision, mission, and objectives. The library of BCE complies with them and has an open-access system. The Library provides services to the faculty members and students. In this regard, the library is supported by 100 educational CDs, including Encyclopedia Britannica and National Geographic Journals. The library subscribes to 2 International Journals and nearly 30 periodicals, including magazines, journals, and newspapers. The library is constantly enriched, and new material is added to keep abreast of the latest changes and advancements in the field of education. For the convenience of the readers, a photocopying facility has also been provided on the library premises.

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

At the college, the number of students is small; a full-fledged canteen facility is not feasible in teacher education colleges, but the college has a small canteen. Coffee/Tea Vending Machine installed where tea, coffee, etc. are provided. A facility for small snacks is also available in the cafeteria. The college, on special occasions, makes use of the full-fledged kitchen for students participating in Community Living Camps. It is also useful during seminars and other programs when food has to be served. A water cooler is installed in the corridor on the first floor for students.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

The college campus is Wi-Fi-enabled to provide open access to the internet.

The College Language Lab is set up in the college because it is not only a place where learners perform language experiments, but it is a special lab where language experiments can be practiced by speaking & listening with the help of sound equipment. It recognizes the individual differences and language aptitude of the learner. It is a self-learning device, designed in such a manner that a student can practice carefully produced patterns of drills. The college is well equipped with microphones, an LCD projector with screen, CPU & many CDs to learn & speak English fluently. ICT & ET Laboratory: The college has a newly renovated state-of-the-art computer laboratory with Internet connection facilities. The laboratory has 16 personal computers with the latest configurations, especially for use by the students. The laboratory is also equipped with scanning and Printing facilities. The college also has Overhead Projectors, Audio Equipment, a VCD player and Television, and other equipment that are often used in the teaching-learning process. The laboratory is looked after by a qualified teaching assistant who also provides technical support.

The College provides STD, Xerox facilities, etc.

The college has a guest house/waiting room facility for visiting faculty and student family members.

The College Parking facilities are provided on campus. A Two-wheeler parking facility is available within the campus, and car parking is in the men‟s hostel compound and also in the model school parking area, which is very near the campus.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.
