The Institute of Management Studies and Information Technology, affiliated with the Maratha Education Society, started in 2001 at Aurangabad, Maharashtra State. IMSIT is an AICTE-approved institute that provides quality education in information technology and management. It offers a focused learning environment within its 3 acres of compact space. The institute has 71 students enrolled at present who are taking support from a dedicated faculty of 7 members. The student-to-faculty ratio is excellent and ensures personal attention and guidance.

IMSIT provides various facilities to enrich the learning experience of the college students. The IMSIT, affiliated with the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad, currently has only one core course: the Master of Computer Applications programme. This full-time postgraduate degree course is two years and aims to equip students with advanced knowledge and skills in the area of computer applications and information technology. The approved enrollment capacity for the MCA programme at IMSIT is 60. This allows IMSIT to concentrate all its resources and expertise on delivering high-quality learning experiences in the field of computer applications.

The admission procedure shall be so devised as to be thorough but fair. The admission norms for IMSIT must be pretty standard for technical education, as it is an AICTE-approved institution. Entrance examination scores or academic performance in qualifying degrees, or probably an interview, would be kept in mind.
