24 MonthsPost Graduate Diploma in Geriatric Care and Management focuses on concepts and exemplars related to geriatric care and management. Based on theories of aging and principles of geriatric care students will learn how to develop health promotional activities, disease prevention strategies and long-term care management of older adults in communities and in institutional care setting. Topics include: Psycho-social and physical changes in aging different models of care delivery, support services and programs for older adults and their families. Duration of this course will be for two semesters over a period of one academic year including on semester of field practicum.
Eligibility Criteria
A candidate must have passed the Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with eligibility for higher studies from any recognized university.
Admission Details
- The selection is made from students who have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with eligibility for higher studies.
- Rank list shall be prepared based on a personal interview which shall be used to evaluate the suitability of the candidate for the Programme.
- The final rank list shall be prepared out of 100 marks.
