We have very good faculty members in each department with years of expertice in teaching and are proficient in their subject. We have teachers
and students from different parts of kerala which brings in various cultures from each part of the state.
College Infra
Since it is a Gov college, the maintenance of equipments and labs are not done on regular basis.
We have only basic equpiments in our labs, but our physical education department always supports students to take part in various events providing training facilities and equipments for us .
Campus Life
My campus life was filled with colours . We always have various intra and inter college events held at
Maharajas. The college if famous for its fest the MAHARAJAKEEYAM which is an alumnii fest conducted every 5 years.
Placements
Sorry, since our college is an arts and science government college, we do not have any campus placements, even though we have a placement cell they are of no help.
I think if the college could host or conduct various job fairs, it would be very helpful for us students.
Value For Money
college offers various scholarships and schemes through which students can get a relaxation in their tuition fees. I was an OBC student and I availed e grantz which is a kerala state gov schorachip.

Academics
The faculty were highly qualified and dedicated. They were always helpful in guiding us even after the course completion. I enjoyed the coursework immensely and it was definitely up to date with the advancements in the field at the time.
College Infra
The campus is still one of the most beautiful in the State of Kerala. There are well equipped laboratories and great sports facilities. They maintained it very well back in my time. I am unaware of the recent additions to the classrooms and such.
Campus Life
Campus life was definitely the highlight for me. The college is situated in the most happening part of Ernakulam and was well connected. Students studying there now will have a lot of places to hang out after college hours. The campus was full of greenery and vintage buildings with aesthetic architecture. There were several clubs and political party youth wings on campus which are still active today.
Placements
The placements wing had some decent offers coming in for most of the other courses. I was interested in pursuing a career in research and so did not opt in for placements. But I do know that my close friends went on to getting some great opportunities both in the teaching as well as corporate sector after completing the course.
Value For Money
The course cost was extremely reasonable in my time. I think it was easily affordable to most students coming from a middle class background. The excellent faculty and campus life definitely makes it worth the money spent.

Maharaja's College Ernakulam does give fee concessions for merit students. If you have very good marks, you can apply for scholarships or fee waivers. In some cases, the tuition fee may be reduced or fully waived.

the admission criteria for courses like B.Com, B.Sc., and B.A is 10+2 completion from any recognized board in the appropriate field with at least 55% aggregate.
