Marthandam College Of Engineering and Technology (MACET) was set up in 2006 in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu. This affiliated college approved with AICTE offers a number of engineering courses at a 11-acre vast campus These engineering courses are: MACET at present is offering education to 705 students an has a strength of 91 faculties. The institute offers 12 courses at two different levels of degrees in the field of engineering such as Computer Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Information Technology.

Marthandam College Of Engineering and Technology has well-developed physical structures that may cater for students’ learning and development needs in the college. The facility includes boys and girls hostels equipped with large comfortable rooms, study and recreation section. A Central library has a rich collection of more than 20,000 volumes technical books, national as well as international journals and also Online Journals /Magazines through IEEE link. The college has 277 computer terminals that are connected with high speed internet facilities for a college. MACET has all the facilities for sports lovers regarding cricket, volleyball, football and in door games etc. There is also a health clinic, a well-equipped gymnasium, and a big canteen which can feed one hundred persons at a time.

MACET provides 12 courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The institute offers 6 programmes in full time BE / B.Tech and 3 programmes in full time ME. 

At MACET, students are offered admissions in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes on merit basis. In case of BE/B.Tech admissions are done through score in board examination (+2 or equivalent).
