Matrusri Institute of Post Graduate Studies, Hyderabad, was established in the year 1997 and is one of the premier women’s institutions situated in Saidabad of Hyderabad. This affiliated college recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), strictly provides postgraduate level education in an area of 4 acres. The institute has the capacity to admit 85 students in total, and has faculty of 6 which makes the environment intense for learning. It is mixed and the students of the institute come from different parts of the world. 

Matrusri Institute of Post Graduate Studies has a number of amenities to help improve the learning environment of the students of the institute. These are accompanied by issue section, reference section having over 6,420 books and a Reprographic Facility. In collaborative learning, the college offers departmental based laboratories. Matrusri Institute of Post-Graduate Studies approval for MBA programme has fixed approval for 60 students admitted to the programme and offered as full time. The existence of the management courses is further confirmation that, indeed, the preparation of students for their proper management takes two years to complete hence, offering the students a complete management education. 

The admission into MBA programme offered by the Matrusri Institute of Post-Graduate Studies is by following the guidelines of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSSCHE). The candidates planning to join the programme have to undergo the TSICET, a state level Test for admission to the MBA programme.
