MATS Law School, Raipur, was established in the year 2009 as a constituent college in Aarang, Chhattisgarh. This institution, approved by the Bar Council of India, offers undergraduate and postgraduate law courses to aspiring professionals. It has 12 faculty members dedicated to teaching an atmosphere that is congenial for learning in the field of legal education.

MATS Law School has all the modern facilities in place to assist its students' academic and personal growth. The library is a treasure house of legal knowledge with more than 10,000 volumes of books and journals. It also subscribes to online databases like Manupatra and Westlaw. The college also has two well-equipped moot court halls where students regularly attend compulsory moot courts every semester to hone the advocacy skills of the aspiring litigators. The student well-being is something that this institution cares about: 24-hour medical facilities exist with a doctor, nurse, and ambulance on campus. Sports enthusiasts have indoor games like table tennis, carrom, and chess; the multipurpose hall has hosted several sports like yoga, martial arts, and so on. This commitment of the college towards accessibility can well be judged from the fact that it has provided for hostel facility for boys and girls as well separate. MATS Law School offers a range of programmes in the law domain that suit diverse academic interests of students. Five full-time courses are offered by the institution: three undergraduate, one postgraduate, and one doctoral. These are: LLB, BBA LLB, BA LLB Hons at the undergraduate level, LLM at the postgraduate level, and Ph.D. in Law at the doctoral level. The aforementioned, its flagship programme includes BA LLB Hons with an approved intake of 120 seats, and the postgraduate programme in LLM has 60 seats. 

The admission process in MATS Law School is to select the best students for its courses. Students would be selected for BA LLB Hons through scores of national level entrance tests including CLAT or LSAT. The institute also accepts other relevant entrance examination scores of a particular stream, thereby making the admission process quite fair and all-inclusive.
