Meera Bai Institute of  Technology(MBIT), Delhi was established in the year 1962. The MBIT Delhi is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Dwarka, New Delhi. The institute is also approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). MBIT Delhi offers Diploma and UG courses in various disciplines. At present a total of ten MBIT Delhi diploma courses are offered in engineering and non-engineering disciplines. The MBIT Delhi courses in Diploma are in Architecture Assistantship, Applied Art, Cosmetology and Health, Electronics & Communication Engg, Interior Design, Library Information Science, Medical Lab & Technology, Modern Office & Practice (English), Modern Office & Practice (Hindi) and Pharmacy. The duration of MBIT New Delhi Diploma courses is 2 to 3 years. 

The MBIT Delhi UG courses are BBA, B.Voc in Interior Design and B.Voc in Applied Art. The duration of MBIT New Delhi UG courses is 3 years. Candidates must meet minimum eligibility criteria to apply for the MBIT Delhi admission. The MBIT New Delhi admission will be done on the basis of Merit. The institute offers many facilities to students. The MBIT Delhi facilities include well well-stocked library, sports and games facilities, canteen, well well-furnished hostel and many more facilities. The institute arranges a placement drive every year. During the MBIT Delhi Placement drive many students are getting jobs in various disciplines.
