Mehsana Urban Institute of Sciences is affiliated with Ganpat University, Mehsana, established in 2006. The premier institution is situated in Mehsana of Gujarat, reposes on a wide campus of over 300 acres in the heart of the city, and accommodates a perfectly modern education with state-of-the-art facilities. An offshoot of Science education, MUIS has carved an identity with a total student enrolment of 2,123 and faculty strength of 58. It offers 18 courses across 3 degree levels with the emphasis on different scientific disciplines like Biotechnology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics.

Mehsana Urban Institute of Sciences prides in the variety of excellent facilities it provides to its students. There are separate hostel facilities for boys and girls, fully equipped with all modern amenities such as reading rooms, TV rooms, and hygienic messes. The hostel facilities at the institute are divided into three blocks for boys, accommodating 780 students, and two blocks for girls, accommodating 480 students. MUIS offers a variety of academic courses in order to cater to various needs and interests. All the courses, undergraduate and postgraduate, are full-time courses. Its undergraduate facility offers the B.Sc programs in Biotechnology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Microbiology, Physics, and Biomedical Science (Hons). At the post-graduate level, it offers M.Sc programs in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Mathematics, Organic Chemistry, Physics, Botany, Industrial Chemistry, and Analytical Chemistry. Another include the PGDMLT - Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology.
