Affiliated college Mekalsuta College, Dindori was set up in 2006 in Shiksha Nagar, Subkhar, Dindori district of Madhya Pradesh. Situated on a small area of 2 acres, this institution has been gradually expanding the sphere of its activities as a seat of learning from the time of its establishment. It presently offers 17 distinct courses spread out over nine degree programmes to 1,774 students in the college. Mekalsuta College has a committed faculty of 16 members who dedicated their lives for educating the young generation and Our college strictly focus on maintaining the healthy student-to-teacher ratio so that the students will get individual attention to clarify their doubts.
The college boasts of well-endowed facilities which aid the learning process of students in the college. The institution includes 18 full-time programmes offered in the streams of arts, commerce, science, education, and nursing. Degree wise Admission Process
B.Sc, B.Com, and BA Programs: The main criteria for undergraduate admission in Science, Commerce, and Arts subjects are the marks that the candidate has obtained in the qualifying examination of 10+2. Diverse specializations within these study programs are offered, such as B.Sc in Microbiology, Computer Applications, and B.Com in Computer Applications.
B.Ed and D.El.Ed Programs: Admission to the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree program is based on merit obtained from the qualified examination and/or an entrance examination. The selection policy adopted is that followed by the state government or UT Administration and the university. The college carries an approved intake of 50 students for B.Ed program.
Likewise, for D.El.Ed admission, students will be required to gain merit from the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or an entrance examination. An intake quota of 50 seats is also approved for D.El.Ed.
BA B.Ed and B.Sc B.Ed Integrated Programs: Integrated programs offered are BA B.Ed and B.Sc B.Ed, which comprise a capacity of 50 seats each. The procedure for admission into such programs is presumably similar to that of the B.Ed course, in that it considers both academic merit and potentially an entrance test.
GNM and B.Sc Nursing Programs: There are 50 approved seats for GNM. The approved intake for the B.Sc Nursing program is 40 seats.
