Merchant Engineering College is found in Basna, Gujarat. It was established in the year 2009. This college is AICTE-approved and provides various courses in engineering. MEC follows centralised admission procedures for Engineering Courses admitting at Govt. of Gujarati constituency. Admissions in BE programmes are strictly merit-based. Scores in the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination, combined with marks in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics (Total 300 marks), make up the admission score. For several courses, MEC also accepts scores from the Gujarat Common Entrance Test, popularly known as GUJCET.
