1. Nationality: Candidates must be Citizens of India/children or dependents of Non-Resident Indians. Candidates must also satisfy the conditions prescribed in the Prospectus.
2. Qualification / Academic
a) Applicants must meet all the requirements stipulated by the NDC and Kerala University of Health Sciences for admission to the MDS course.
b) Applicants should have passed and possess recognized BDS Degree from an institution duly recognized as per the provisions of the National Dental Commission Act (as amended from time to time) by the competent authority concerned in India.
c) Applicants shall have to qualify in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (Post Graduate) conducted by the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi (An autonomous organisation of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India) on an All–India basis for admission to MDS Courses for academic session 2026-27 (NEET-PG 2026).
d) The eligibility criteria for admission to NRI category will be as per GO(MS)No.243/2014/H&FWD dated 06.08.2014, G.O(Rt)No.375/2020/H&FWD dated 22.02.2020, G.O.(Rt)No.1556/2024/H&FWD dt.28-06-2024, G.O.(Rt)No.1616/2024/H&FWD dt.04-07-2024, G.O.(Rt)No.650/2025/H&FWD dt.05- 03- 2025, G.O (Rt) No. 191/2026/H&FWD dtd 13.01.2026, CEE notification No. CEE/263/2026- TA4 dated 02/07/2026 and further orders in this regard, if any, issued by the Government from time to time
e) Only applicants who have completed their one-year Compulsory Rotatory Internship of 12 months or are likely to complete the same on or before 31/05/2026 are eligible to apply.
