The MET Centre for Insurance Training, Research and Development, Mumbai, was set up in 2005 and is a specialised centre working in the field of Insurance to enhance the existing knowledge and skills in the field. This institute lies within the GMERS Bhujbal Knowledge City in Bandra West, Mumbai City. The institute is equipped with almost all the necessities that would help in improving the implementation of learning facilities. The modern hi-tech facility – convention centre that has a seating capacity of 800 is fully equipped to host seminars and guest lectures. 

MET CITRD is affiliated with the University of Mumbai and is approved by AICTE. The campus features state-of-the-art facilities, including Wi-Fi classrooms and a convention centre, with strong ties to industry recruiters for excellent placement opportunities. Computer labs are also available in the MET Centre for Insurance Training, Research and Development, and these facilities are well-endowed with current software and peripheral equipment. For a well-stocked brain, the library fitted with computers is adequately stocked with books and magazines, and newspapers belonging to different fields. The MET Centre for Insurance Training, Research and Development offers a focused curriculum with one primary course. The PGP EMBA Insurance programme. It is a full-time programme, duly designed as a two-year postgraduate course to produce polished insurance professionals with overall know-how.
