Mewar Girls College of Teachers Training, started in 2005, is an affiliated girls college located at Gandhi Nagar, Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. Recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the institute offers exclusive teacher education programmes. It is located in 2 acres, and in the present time, total student population is 191 and faculty members are 21 in number. The institute offers two degree programmes: a full-time 2-year course of Bachelors in Education (B. Ed.) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed.).

The college has many resources to fulfil its educational goals and objectives. A well-furnished girls hostel consists of accommodation centre for students from distant place by having spacious accommodation with fitted balconies with river views and well-arranged mess. The library is centrally located and contains more than one thousand books and journals, different magazines and newspapers, and Hindi and English. The college also has specialist laboratories in Physics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, and computers to support practical learning. In the interest of the students’ welfare, there is a canteen, a health centre with first aid facility, and a gymnasium. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled to support the IT infrastructure, which comprises of a contemporary computer laboratory with appropriate technology.

A total of two programmes are offered by the Mewar Girls College of Teachers Training and literally both of them are on-campus. There are 100 sanctioned seats in the B.ED course and 50 in the D.EL.ED course. These programmes are actually intended to produce professionals that are capable of teaching in schools.
