On Wednesday, 23 August, 2023, MG Science Institute along with Botanical Advanced Association, Gujrat organised a Seminar with Guest Speaker Prof. Fredy Altpeter at Ahmedabad University, where he discussed various aspects of plant research carried out in his university and its funding. The lecture was attended by 50+ students and faculty members.

MG Science Institute Ahmedabad

Established in 1946, Mafatlal Gagalbhai Science Institute, Ahmedabad, is one of the oldest colleges of Sciences. The institute is affiliated with Gujarat University and has a grant-in-aid status from the government of Gujarat. The college has received ‘A’ grade by NAAC in 3rd cycle (2021). MG Science Institute specialises in the field of Science as it offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes for the same. Before applying for admissions, the candidate must meet the eligibility criteria of the institute.

The admissions are based on merit, which will be calculated on the basis of marks or aggregate obtained in higher secondary class (or 10 +2 or equivalent evaluation) under the boards approved by the institute.

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure of the college is very bad it is not upto the mark. The facilities the college provides is a good classroom which contains Lights and fans only. The college has a huge auditorium. The college has a big library has well.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of the college is average it is not so good. Facilities included projector in each and every class. Classrooms are very huge and very well maintained. The living space is very big and neat and clean.

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is old but gets renovated and maintained time to time,and basic facilities are functional. Basic facilities include projectors,updated libraries and sports complex is well equipped and hygienic. Canteen was not up to the mark.
