There are many programs offered by the School of Biomedical Sciences: Physician Assistant, Cardiac Care Technology, Medical Dialysis Technology, Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology, Medical Laboratory Technology, and Operation Theater and Anaesthesia Technology. Depending on the programme, intake capacity ranges from 5-30 students.
B.Optom: Admission for the Bachelor of Optometry course also relies on merit and has 20 seats. Candidates must have done 10+2 with a science background.
M.Sc. Courses: Admission to any of the following courses: Cardiac Care Technology, Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology, Biostatistics, Clinical Embryology, Medical Biotechnology, Medical Genetics, Molecular Biology, Medical Dialysis Technology, and Clinical Nutrition relies on merit according to the candidate's performance in the relevant bachelor's degree. Intake capacity ranges from 5 to 20 students depending on the program.
M.Optom: Admission for the Master of Optometry program is confined to 5 seats and is based on merit. Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in Optometry.
MPH and MHA: The Master of Public Health and Master of Hospital Administration programs have an intake of 10 and 15 seats, respectively. Admission is based on merit in the relevant bachelor’s degree.
Ph.D. Programs: The doctoral programs are conducted in several major areas like Medical Sciences, Medical Biotechnology, Medical Genetics, Hospital Administration, Bio-Statistics, Clinical Nutrition, and Optometry. Admission could involve taking entrance examinations or attending interviews depending on the department.
