Minerva Institute of Management and Technology (MIMT) is a private institute established in 2009 and approved by the Government of Uttarakhand. The Minerva Institute is affiliated to Sri Dev Suman Uttarakhand University (SDSUU) and offers various UG, PG, Diploma, Advance Diploma, and Certification programmes in the fields of Fashion Designing, Fine Arts, Mass Communication, Business Administration, Computer Application and Animation. Some of the MIMT Dehradun courses are BBA, BCA, BFA, B.Sc Animation, M.Sc Animation,  etc. MIMT Dehradun eligibility criteria vary according to the course and specialisation chosen by the candidates. MIMT Dehradun admissions are mainly merit-based except for BFA programme, which requires an entrance examination conducted by the Institute.

MIMT Dehradun has a dedicated placement cell that provides career guidance and assistance to students. The MIMT Dehradun placement cell organises various activities such as seminars, workshops, industrial visits, mock interviews, etc. to enhance the employability skills of the students.
