MIT Arts, Commerce and Science College is a private aided institute established in the year 2007, presently affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University. It is co-educational and provides a wide range of Arts, Commerce, Science, and Management education programmes. The college is located in Alandi, Pune. The college is also accredited by NAAC. This 4-acre campus has an associated student strength of 1,844, with a faculty of 90. Under MITACSC, there is a total of 16 courses offered under 8 degree programmes dedicated to undergraduate and postgraduate computer science, business administration, mass communication.

The college's academic portfolio includes some popular courses, such as B.Com, BBA, BBA in Computer Applications, and B.Sc Computer Science. At the postgraduate level, it offers M.Sc Computer Science, M.Sc Computer Applications, and so on. The total intake approved for the institute is 1,838 students in its various programmes. The intake is large for courses like B.Com, in which 240 students can take admission, and B.Sc Computer Science, which also has 240 seats. They offer a variety of courses catering to a wide range of academic interests and career aspirations. 

The admission process at MITACSC varies from course to course. In the case of the B.Com and B.Sc Computer Science courses, the candidates apply directly to the college, and the admittances are strictly on a merit basis. In BBA programmes, which include Computer Applications and International Business, an entrance exam is conducted by the college, with the admission offered under the entrance score. Post graduate programmes like M.Sc Computer Science also have an entrance requirement, and the score in this test, along with the graduation percentage, is being considered for admission. MITACSC believes in equal opportunity in education, and avails several scholarship schemes. 

The college provides government scholarships to the students of SC/ST and OBC categories, and among the special scholarships that the college provides, one can also avail Minority Scholarship and Physically Handicapped Scholarship. Merit-based scholarships for first-year students are also provided by the college. The Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulkh Shishyavrutti Scheme is given to support Open and SEBC category students. Further, female candidates are awarded the Kranti Jyoti Savitrimata Phule Scholarship, and Merit-Cum-Need Based Scholarships that are available through the Lila Poonawalla Foundation.
