Moran Commerce College came into existence in 1993. It is an affiliated college located at Moran Notun Nagar, Dibrugarh (Assam). It is a co-educational institution whose main mission is to deliver quality Commerce education to the students in a given region. Located on 10 acres of land, the college provides an environment that favours learning and growth. The total No of Students that the Moran Commerce College caters to is 88, and the faculty members that are deeply committed to teaching are 9 in number only; hence, the college offers personal care to its students. 

Moran College, established in 1964, and Moran Commerce College, established in 1993, are both permanently affiliated with Dibrugarh University, Assam. Moran Commerce College has many amenities to improve the learning process of the learners. Established in the year 2004, the library was officially blessed by Mr Sarbananda Sonowal, a former central minister, who inaugurated the library. It boasts of a library containing a good number of books that is being categorised according to type and subjects being paraded in commerce and business studies. They can also circulate books with their library cards and make use of a reading room which is associated with the library, and contains newspapers and journals. This facility is very instrumental in supplementing the academic activities of the students as well as promoting a culture of reading and researching. Moran Commerce College, at the moment, has only one fully accredited programme for a full-time undergraduate – Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com). This degree programme is one of the broad-based courses that takes three years to complete to equip the students with both a wide and in-depth knowledge in commerce, business and finance. Thus, the total student intake for this programme is 88 students to ensure quality education and maintain a favourable student-teacher ratio.
