Mother Teresa Women's College in Aligarh was founded in 2004 and stands proud as a women’s college in Uttar Pradesh. Talanagri, Ramghat Road affiliated college is spread across an area of 7 acres for the following academic sessions, with an environment culture fit for academic enhancement. This institution is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and provides education to 352 students. It also has a vigorous team of 14 professionals as faculty. Currently, the college offers 5 courses across 4 degree programmes catering for a wide interests but focusing on education, home science, and arts. 

It is affiliated with Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar University (Agra University), Agra, Uttar Pradesh. Mother Teresa Women's College has diverse full-time courses for its students, where students can pursue their undergrad through BA and B.Sc. Home Science, whereas postgraduates can go for MA Education and MA Drawing and Painting, etc. The key programme of the institution is B.Ed. with an approved intake capacity of 100 students, demonstrating the institution's specialised area of interest in teacher education.  

Mother Teresa Women's College has a unique admission process depending on the course of the student’s choice. The admission process to the B.Ed programme is transparent and centralised. For the B.Ed programme, admission is done on the merits of the UP B.Ed Joint Entrance Examination (UP B.Ed JEE).
