It was established in 1960 ,located in civil lines ,khandwa ( M.P.) Motilal Nehru Law College Khandwa is a premier legal education college. Under this capacity, the college works with approval of the Bar Council of India (BCI) so as to provide high educational standards. The college offers two specialised law programmes: Facilitating undergraduate and post graduate legal education the university offers LLB (Hons) and LLM programmes to the aspiring legal workforce. The institute has 138 students in total & there are 7 faculty members which make the environment more focused towards legal education.
Motilal Nehru Law College has a number of amenities that will improve the learning experience of its learners Resource centre, library, computer laboratory, ICT laboratory, science laboratory, cafeteria, student council among others. Linked to these facilities are a well-finished spacious library with more than 4987 books and journals. This knowledge hub caters for learning, teaching, and research needs since they are critical activities in institution. Motilal Nehru Law College provides two complete time programmes in Law. The LLB (Hons) course is an undergraduate course that takes for three years, while the LLM is a postgraduate programme taking two years.
