MRK Polytechnic College started in 2010 is a self-finance institution located at Cuddalore of Tamilnadu. This is an AICTE recognised college that provides few diploma courses in the field of Engineering. Located in a campus area of 5.51 acres, the MRK Polytechnic College is now having intake capacity of 974 students and 76 faculty members. The institute offers five full time Diplomas which are of three year duration and are specialised in Mechanical, Civil Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics and Computer Engineering Diploma. As a highly technical institution, MRK Polytechnic College has a vision of preparing its students to fit well within engineering disciplines.

Several facilities are availed in MRK Polytechnic College ,that is available to improve on teaching and learning provisions for the students. The place is equipped with functional laboratories needed for students hands-on practical undertakings in various fields of engineering. A library is an information centre and supports people in their studies for their academics. It also beloveds a sound IT platform that enhances the new trends in learning methodologies,. As for the additional practices, there are the four fields with the equipment for different types of sport for all the students. In all, MRK Polytechnic College provides the following five diploma courses and all are full-time. In its dimension of courses of study, the institute has an approved total intake capacity of 450 students. With regards to intakes, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering takes the largest intake of 180 students, Diploma in Civil Engineering is second with 90 intakes. The other three programmes include the Computer Engineering, the Electrical and Electronics Engineering and the Electronics and Communication Engineering for which the institutions admits 60 students each. These courses are intended to build in the student the necessary theoretical background as well as develop practical experience in his/her chosen branch of engineering.
