MRR College of Pharmacy, Nandigama, is a constituent college within Krishna District in Andhra Pradesh. MRR College of Pharmacy provides various postgraduate and undergraduate pharmacy courses to suit students aiming to pursue a career in the pharmaceutical sector.

Admission in MRR College of Pharmacy is done on the principle to choose resourceful and zealous students for its courses. The college provides a total intake of 256 out of which 100 seats are kept for B.Pharma program and 54 seats for M.Pharma streams. Admission in the college is provided on merit basis as per performances of candidates in their qualifying exams.

Application Process

Application process for MRR College of Pharmacy, Nandigama, is as given below:

1. Notification: The college gives a notification of the opening of the admissions process in the official website and other media.

2. Application Form: The candidates who desire to apply can download the application form from the website of the college or can collect it personally from the campus.

3. Submission of Documents: The candidates are required to submit the filled application form along with the following documents:

  • 10th and 12th mark sheets (for B.Pharma candidates)
  • B.Pharma degree certificate and mark sheets (for M.Pharma candidates)
  • Entrance examination scorecard (if required)
  • Valid proof of ID
  • Recent passport-size photos
  • Any other certificates or documents as indicated by the college

4. Application Fee: The students are to pay the application fee as mentioned along with their duly filled application form.

5. Merit List: The college, if necessary, prepares a merit list based on the students' academic performance, and entrance score (if chosen).

6. Counselling, Seat Allotment: Shortlisted candidates are invited for counselling where they can choose the course of their desire, if any, (for M.Pharma specializations), according to their rank and seat availability.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Pharma: The B.Pharma course program of MRR College of Pharmacy has a sanctioned intake capacity of 100 students. The four-year undergraduate degree admission is conducted based on the performance of the candidate in 10+, which is on marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics. Marks obtained in state-level or national-level pharmacy entrance exams may also be taken into consideration by the college at the time of admission. 

M.Pharma: MRR College of Pharmacy has three M.Pharma specializations with an approved capacity of 18 seats each:

1. M.Pharma in Industrial Pharmacy
2. M.Pharma in Pharmaceutical Analysis and Quality Assurance
3. M.Pharma in Pharmaceutics

Admission to these postgraduation courses for two years is typically done on the basis of the candidate's B.Pharma scores and also on the basis of their performance in their national-level entrance exam such as GPAT. The college may also have some other screening processes like interviews or written tests to choose the best candidates in each field.
