About MSME Technology Centre, Visakhapatnam
MSME Technology Centre Visakhapatnam was established in the year of 2018 with a vision to provide quality technical education to the students. The centre was established with the efforts of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) to promote technological upgradation and skill development in the MSME sector. The centre is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). MSME Technology Centre Visakhapatnam is affiliated with the State Board of Technical Education and Training Hyderabad.
MSME Technology Centre courses are offered in Diploma in Die and Mould Making and Diploma in Mechatronics and Industrial Automation. MSME Technology Centre Visakhapatnam also provides consultancy and production services in the field of design development and manufacturing technologies to MSME for the latest developments in tool and die, precision machinery, aviation and aerospace components and systems.
MSME Technology Centre facilities offered are a separate hostel for boys and girls, a library, laboratories, IT Infrastructure and an auditorium. The centre also provides job placements to its students. Several placement drives, industrial training programmes, seminars, workshops and guest lectures are organised from time to time. The top recruiters of MSME Technology Centre are Tata Motors, Hero, Capgemini and others. In 2023 a total of 99 students got placed through the placement cell of the college.
