Maharshi Shinde Adhyapak Vidyalaya, MVPS is one of the oldest existing schools in Nashik, Maharashtra which was established in 1939. Located at Shivaji Nagar, Gangapur Road, Nashik, this college is serving the purpose of providing education to the fresher’s for the past eight decades. The institute is dedicated to the cause of providing teacher education for which it has the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) programme .

In Maharshi Shinde Adhyapak Vidyalaya we find a variety of teaching aids, which are intended to improve the learning outcome of the students. This typography is an important university library including, 7,909 books, 5 educational journals, 18 encyclopedias and offer seating for 50 students. In order to support practical learning, the college provides departmental based labs. The institution also meets modern education requirements by having a great information technology support system.

The flagship course of Maharshi Shinde Adhyapak Vidyalaya of MVPS is a focused curriculum, offering a D.El.Ed programme . This programme takes two years of full time study and prepares every student for a career in the teaching of the first degree. The college is currently allowed to admit 40 students for this particular programme to enhance on student contact and quality education.

The admission criteria include the marks scored by the student in the qualifying exam and or entrance examination at MVPS’s Maharshi Shinde Adhyapak Vidyalaya.
