Affiliated college Nancy Polytechnic, Samana was established in 2010 and is situated in Patiala, Punjab. This is AICTE recognized institution offering engineering diploma programmes in fields of engineering. Nancy Polytechnic occupies a fairly small area of 5.02 acres and enrols a total of 287 students; the faculty consists of 55 employees. The college offers five three yr full time diploma courses in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering and Civil Engineering. In line with the educational policy of offering technical education, Nancy Polytechnic, as an institution of learning, intends to equip students with appropriate education that will prepare them to features future world of work in different fields of engineering.

The Nancy Polytechnic provides a total of five diploma courses and all the courses are full time. They include Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering Electronics & Communication Engineering and Civil Engineering. The total and approved intake for these courses is a total of two hundred and forty which include seat. In order of ME, E & CS engineering the number of seats is 60 each while E & CE and Civil engineering have only 30 each. These courses are intended to equip students with sound knowledge in their areas of specialized engineering disciplines.
