Natwarlal Maniklal Dalal College of Art and Commerce College, which is popularly known as NMD, Gondia, is one of the premier institutions in the city. The college was established back in 1958. This affiliated college, located in Gondia of Maharashtra, has been giving its services in shaping the futures of students since more than the last six decades. The campus spreads over 2.01 acres, providing an ambience best-suited for learning and growth. NMD College has been assessed and accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, NAAC, Bangalore, and approved by the Bar Council of India. This institution offers qualitative education through a wide variety of programs. With a total enrolment of 2,474 students and a faculty of 38.

NMD College offers courses that cater to a very wide range of academic interests. It offers 19 full-time courses in multiple streams comprising arts, commerce, law, and management.hence, contributes a substantial share towards higher education in the area. Some of the course names along with their intake capacity include BA, B.Com, BBA. The institution also offers postgraduate courses like M.Com, MA in different subjects, and MBA, there are available doctoral programs.

The system of admission adopted by Natwarlal Maniklal Dalal College is inclusive and totally merit-based. In the case of most Undergraduate courses, the candidate's merit in the 12th standard examination remains the sole criterion for admission. However, in the LLB programme, admission is granted based on the performance of the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test.
