Affiliated college Navodaya Dental College Raichur was established in the year 2006 and The college is situated in Karnataka India. This prestigious dental college is affiliated to the National Assessment and Accreditation Council(NAAC) and recognized up by Dental Council of India(DCI). With a 5.64-acre campus, the college teaches 10 courses in 2 degrees and enrols 106 students. Having a staff strength of 58, Navodaya Dental College has a controlled student to faculty ratio. The institute boasts a diverse student body, with 45% of students coming from outside the state, and a gender ratio favoring female students at 2:1.

Here in the college, our mission is to ensure that we provide the best student-friendly environment that addresses students’ learning needs and other responsibilities They therefore have following facilities availed to them; Hostel facilities by gender are available for out station students; this include boys hostels and girls hostels. An efficient and stocked up library is a center of information while adequate and efficient IT facilities enhance new age learning. 

Regarding the health and wellness of the college, the college has a medical facility which provide first aid. With the various available sports facility students can participate in several activities that will do with sports. The campus also consists of cafeteria to avail meals and also has an auditorium for some event, seminars etc. Also, the college supports a strong alumni base, this allows the current learners to learn from previous learners.

Navodaya Dental College provides complete dentals curriculum education programs. There are total 10 courses offered by the institute in which both under and post graduate programs are available. At undergraduate level, the college provide Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) with 100 seat intake. Postgraduate programs include nine specialties in MDS, which for the most part, probably have three seats each. Some of these specific MDS programs include Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Prosthodontics & Crown and Bridges, Pedodontics & Preventive Dentistry , Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology, Public Health Dentistry, Orthodontics, Oral Medicine & Radiology and Periodontics. Every course is a full-time one, which guarantees that a dental education will be intense and to the point.

Navodaya Dental College follows admission criteria in accordance with universities norms and regulations besides merit. For the BDS program, most students are selected after scoring on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). Likewise, in case of MDS programs the NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST FOR MDS (NEET MDS) scores are considered. At this stage, examinations are carried out at the national level for this reason, thus making the selection fair. The college also provides scholarships for the students to sponsors needful and deserving students. For the academic year 2021, 32 students came from the total of 370 undergraduate students, and 2 students out of 55 postgraduate students avail the reimbursement proven the institute funding.
