About the College: Nazareth College of Arts and Science for women, Chennai was started in the year 2000 The College is located at Avadi, Chennai – Tamil Nadu. The institution is located on a 5 acre land and its major areas of specialization are Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs. NAAC accredited, Nazareth College offers a total number of 1,443 students and a faculty 78 in strength. Currently, the college offers 15 courses in 10 different degrees in arts and science fields.

The college has applied versatile resources to improve the student experience and is described as follows. For Classroom needs, a library is provided to all the students and for their fitness and recreations there are sports facilities. The institution’s IT department is well equipped to provide students with latest technology for use in their learning. An auditorium accommodates one event or another, it is active in conducting of seminars among students. There is also a cafeteria to furnish the need of the students, a health centre with first aid facilities, and a gym for the health of the students.
