Neelamadhab Mahavidyalaya, Kantilo, started in 1977 as an affiliated college, is situated at Nayagarh, Odisha. This co-educational institution is affiliated with the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Located over a campus size of 7 acres, it has 15 courses and four degrees and enrols nearly 1,566 students. Currently the college has 37 faculty members and is offering its programmes in different disciplines of Arts and Sciences. It specifically specialises in academic areas such as Odia, Political Science, History, Physics and more.

The college has available facilities to enhance students learning and development. The library, being the heart of any educational institution, has a collection of 15,992 books for undergraduate and higher secondary students and also 646 books in the book bank library. It operates on all working days from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, which creates an environment most suitable for learning. The campus also has a canteen for those interested in eating as well as a gym and playing fields for exercise too. In an attempt to equip the college to meet the current learning requirements, there is a provision of IT and the college offers internet through Wi-Fi all through the compound. For academic and co-curricular activities, auditorium facilities are provided in the college, and they are also used for organising the related programme and seminar.

Neelamadhab Mahavidyalaya consists of a total of 15 courses, and all the courses are only full-time courses. The college offers a combination of Arts and Science programs such as BA, B.Sc. and offers other specific programmes like B.Lib.Sc. and B.Lib.I.Sc.
