New Ideal College of Education, Tiruchirappalli, which commenced in the year 2007, is one of the innovative teacher training institute situated in the state of Tamil Nadu in India. New Ideal College of Education aims at offering standard teacher education by offering the Bachelor of Education (B.ED) programme. This being a full-time course it takes 2 years and the approved enrolment is 100 students. The B.Ed programme is especially aimed at preparing proficient and skilled teachers for the successful future in the process of education. Presently, the college has only one course of study, but the content of the programme, therefore, prepares the graduates adequately for teaching practice.
