Nil Ratan Sircar Medical College, Kolkata was established in the year 1873 and it is named after Sir Nilratan Sircar who was a freedom fighter and an alumnus of the institute. NRSMC Kolkata has been recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC). One of the Best Medical Colleges in Kolkata
College Infrastructure
My dream college,2nd home after Medical College, Kolkata because many toppers come here. One of the best medical colleges with large campus, pond, playing ground, superspeciality hospital, separate large hostels, well equipped labs. The hospital has huge patient influx, huge no UG, PG students. It offers a lot of courses like nursing, BMLT. During my admission not so clean, but now its one of the cleanest campus. Good hygienic canteens are there.

Most of the buildings are not well maintained and the washrooms are in a very bad condition.The common room is kept very unclean.The dogs can be found roaming everywhere.Lots of noice pollution from ongoing construction.
