Academics
The academic of the college is excellent and consist of combination of both theory classes and practical classes daily. All the necessary equipment and materials which are required for effective learning is present.
College Infra
Spread in 33 acres this nilnratan Sircar is the only government medical College of kolkata to have a large size football ground and a badminton court for sport activities. The academic building has a large auditorium.
Placements
No placement. But the student from here generally get job in good nursing home with hifi salaries and also in hospital in private places. The skills developed during the academic period help them to get job easily.

Has excellent doctors of Kolkata who will guide and mentor and teach the concept with assignment and exposure to practical classes in wards with patients interaction. this enhance the learning process.
College Infra
Good infrastructure. Hostels are old. The campus has total 5 hostels 2 for boys and 3 for girls for mbbs and pg. New building is under progress. Will start soon as trauma center. Old red buildings are also present.
Placements
Placement are not applicable in this college because this is a medical college and not any engineering college. So there is no anything like placement here or in any medical college. But interns and externs of the college get a good amount of stipend.

Academics
Being the top third medical College in the entire west bengal state, academic is all good. The teaching system is divided into 19 or more departments depending on the all the subjects under mbbs. Good clinic exposure one can get.
College Infra
Although old buildings from outside giving it a part of old classic kolkata, class rooms and laboraories inside have the all conditioning of a modern era classroom fascinating the study.Students also get a library cum reading room.
Placements
Interns get a hi-fi stipend. But as it is a medical College students has to explicitly apply for various job vacancies including the UPSC for medical job as rmo. However maximum prefer to PG entrance.
