MD General Medicine - Batch of 2027-01-01

I am studying in third year of MD general medicine course. Clinical, non-clinical training are included in our course. NEET PG is the admission exam to this college. Recognised doctors are teaching our practical classes.
College Infra
Nilratan Sircar medical college is one of the best medical college in west bengal. Well equipped central laboratories, central library and pathology lab are available in our department. Separate hostel facilities are quite good.
Placements
At about 100% students get job from every batch after completing MD from this college. Normally they join in NRS medical college or other government hospital as a junior doctor. At about 5-6 LPA is provided in the starting position.

Academics
Admission process of this college was through the NEET exam. Pathology, microbiology, pharmacy, forensic medicine, Anatomy, bio chemistry, surgery, general medicine, bio technology etc were core syllabus parts in our five year course.
College Infra
Nilratan Sircar medical college was one of best medical college in whole West Bengal. Separate hostel facilities with well equipped gym, indoor game area, auditorium, lecture hall, smart classrooms, departmental lab were available in our college.
Placements
A mandatory 12 months internship chance allotted from this college. In this period they work as a junior doctor. Approx 30 thousands stipend were provided to the junior doctor. But after I cleared NEET PG to get admission in M.D course in same college. Overall placement is good.

The academic of the college is excellent and consist of combination of both theory classes and practical classes daily. All the necessary equipment and materials which are required for effective learning is present.
College Infra
Spread in 33 acres this nilnratan Sircar is the only government medical College of kolkata to have a large size football ground and a badminton court for sport activities. The academic building has a large auditorium.
Placements
No placement. But the student from here generally get job in good nursing home with hifi salaries and also in hospital in private places. The skills developed during the academic period help them to get job easily.
