NIMT College was established in the year 2003 to impart education in the field of law and is established in RIICO Industrial Area, Kotputli, Jaipur, Rajasthan. The college is located on a 20-acre campus and is recognised by the Bar Council of India (BCI) to ensure good quality education in legal science. NIMT College of Law has the strength of 82 students for the total intake, and the college has eighteen faculty members. The institute offers two courses in law that are offered to students according to their area of interest and future careers.
NIMT College of Law is affiliated with Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Law University, Jaipur. NIMT College of Law has various facilities that could improve student learning and personal development among the key facilities on this college campus. The library is highly important as a source of legal information, and literature is available in the library in plenty. As for practical (based) training, the college includes a moot court to give the students mock courtroom scenes to practise their advocacy. The institution also has well-equipped laboratories and intensive information and technology resources for modern technology-enhanced education.
Recreational facilities exist for students in order to have a good work-life balance as they practise their treasured sporting activities. There is a health centre whose main role is identification and treatment of health disorders that may affect students; hence, the college promotes the welfare of students. The available hostel facilities for students of the University of Phoenix are general for both male and female students, making the environment comfortable for living. Furthermore, the college offers accommodation amenities to its guests, such as the visiting faculty and even their families.
NIMT College of Law teaches two full-time courses in law. In the law programmes, they have a three-year LLB and a five-year integrated BA LLB, both of which have an approved intake capacity of 120 seats. This policy has been adopted due to the college’s aim of offering different studies so as to meet the interests and needs of students when it comes to employment in legal as well as other fields.
As to the admission requirements, the website of NIMT College of Law, Jaipur, announces that it has a clear and transparent procedure for student admission; however, the specific details are not covered. Applicants are encouraged to check the college’s website or get in touch with the admission office for current information on when to submit their application, what documents are needed and what academic credentials will be relevant. The college may consider the performance of the students in qualification academic exams, and it might conduct its own entrance test/interview for some of the courses.
Despite the lack of information about entrance tests which are accepted by this institute, students should prepare for the tests which are generally accepted by the law colleges in India. Regrettably, information about scholarships as well as acclaimed alumni of the facility is hard to come by. However, and in light of the college's focus on legal education and its recognition by the Bar Council of India, students will find themselves in a highly academic environment matched to college requirements for entrance into the legal profession and other legal-related careers.
