Nirmala Arts and Science College, Ernakulam, the brain child of St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara, was established in 2007 to take the torch of quality education forward is an affiliated college located on the picturesque Nirmala Hills of Mulanthuruty, Kerala. This university with an extent of 5 acres provide a green interface which can facilitate its students in their learning. Currently, the college boasts of having 665 students and 36 faculty members, which means that learning environment is quite personal.
It is equipped with some facilities that would definitely create a positive environment towards learning a particular course. The main academic resource is the central library that contains more than eight thousand books and offers the chances to subscribe to almost sixty periodicals and five journals. In its 100 square meter space, they have provided 80 seating spaces and a browsing and reprographic center equipped with five computers. For students who wish to major in technological courses, the college has put up two computer labs with a capacity of over ninety-six systems to enable the learners to have practical touch with modern technology. The campus also consists of a large hall, where a thousand people can sit comfortably, also to hold various events and celebrations. Intending to meet students’ need for nutrition, the campus has a canteen that can accommodate seventy-five students. The college has football and cricket grounds to nurture sports talents of the students and at the same time it enhances the physical fitness and team work among the fans.

Boys toilet is not so good. Classroomsare neat. College surroundings is good and very good ambience. Not many food items in canteen. Sometimes there is Parking issues. Programmes are good. Sports centres are there but not working perfectly on it.
