Nirmala Arts and Science College, Ernakulam Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The central library of the college, located in the new block has a collection of more than 8,000 books and has subscriptions to nearly 60 periodicals and 5 Journals. The library has a built-up area of 100 sqm with a seating capacity of 80 Seats and a browsing and reprographic center with five computers.

The College has computer lab of our college is a fully furnished lab with modern IT facilities. NASC has two updated computer labs with about a hundred systems in total.

The college canteen of the college serves only what is best for the students and staff. It has a seating capacity of seventy-five people and the food served here is adequate for the growth of the pupil. The management has always ensured that the students get the right eatables on their table as it is a major requirement of any institution.

The college has a large auditorium where most of the important days are observed and celebrated. The college auditorium is very spacious and it has a seating capacity of enough to hold a thousand people. While the auditorium is used for various functions, a large group of students can also occupy the balcony area which is an added facility. There is a ramp at the entrance specially created to be utilized by disabled students. Toilet facilities are also provided just by the side of the auditorium.

The college boasts of a good sporting ground for football and cricket. The sports activities are eagerly awaited by the students every year.

The college has a departmental based laboratories facility for the students.

The college has a guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The college provides two well-maintained buses which cover to and fro travel from College to Vytila. Traveling together reduces differences between students and helps them adhere to the rules and regulations of the college. Students will be taken back to their homes on the bus at 1.30 p.m. The students who have extra classes and practices can use the bus for teachers at 3.30 p.m.
