Nirmala College of Health Science, Chalakudy the institution commenced in 2017 as a co – educational college situated in Thrissur district, Kerala. This related college is PCI approved for pharmaceutical education. Located on 20 acres campus, this college is today providing education to 251 students and has 31 faculty members. The institute currently has three full time courses in the field of pharmacy namely B.Pharma, D.Pharma and Pharm.D. For a relatively short time, having been founded in 2010, Nirmala College of Health Science has found its place among the noteworthy healthcare educational institutions.

A number of facilities, adequate for the students in terms of learning and overall physical development, many of which are new, are available in the college. It has also provided enough and well furnished separate hostels for boys and girls to accommodate out station students comfortably and safely. The college library has books and literary journals, national and international, which can be useful to teachers and students for research purposes.  To provide students the physical fitness and recreation, students have the facility of volley ball, basket ball, cricket and badminton ground. The institution also has an updated computerized center with internet connection extended for staff and students during the week. Other facilities are hygienic cafeteria for vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian, a built-in auditorium for conducting seminars and other events, and laboratories for practical knowledge.

The Nirmala College of Health Science, in total, provides for three full time courses in the pharmacological course undertakings. There are current recognized courses of study as follows; The 4-year Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma), The 2-year Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma), and the 6-year Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) program. B.Pharma program is offered with an intake capacity of 100 and the D.Pharma program has intake of 60. The total participation of students encompasses all courses offered, and it stands at 233 students; a figure very approximate to the present enrollment data. This implies that there was great demand of the college programs that it was offering to the public.
