About Nirmala School of Nursing, Shimoga

Nirmala School of Nursing was started in the year 2004 in Bhadravathi, Karnataka and is a self financing college focused entirely on offering education in nursing. This women only institution is a learning institute which has been accredited and approved by the Indian nursing council (INC). The school is located in a small 3-acre plots and is currently enrolment 241 students with 18 teaching staffs. Nirmala School of Nursing provides two specialized nursing programs: Two courses that are offered are B.Sc Nursing and General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM), this are courses that prepares the students to fit the market in healthcare.

It wants to pride itself on being able to offer a variety of the facilities which might enrich the learning process as well as the results of the institute’s students. It also has professional books for each subject supported in the INC-approved syllabus for the academic library’s valuable resource. In order to support students’ physical health and to provide leisure time for them, the school provides various kinds of facilities for outdoors and for indoors sports. The campus also has an auditorium for occasions and seminar and thus, the provision of a vibrant campus environment.
