The NM Institute of Engineering and Technology, Bhubaneswar, NMIET is one of the best educational institutes in Odisha which was established in 2004. The NMIET is accredited by AICTE and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and affiliated with BPUT, Odisha. The NMIET provides various courses and degrees at different levels. The NMIET courses include 5 Degrees and 18 Courses in diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses. The candidates must meet the NMIET eligibility criteria. 

The NMIET admissions will be based on the candidate's marks obtained in the 10+2 for bachelor’s and master’s degrees bachelor’s performance will be considered. The NMIET facility includes ICT-based tools, industry study tours and workshops, seminar and outbound activities, separate canteens and hostels for boys and girls, a library and laboratories, a sports and cultural cell, an anti-ragging committee and others. The NMIET facilities have an anti-ragging committee, a women's welfare committee and a disciplinary committee.
