Noble College of Education, Mandi, was started in the year 2006 and is an affiliated college situated in the village Seog, Pandoh, in Mandi Dist. of Himachal Pradesh. This co-educational learning institution aims at nurturing the student’s who wish to have a future in education. Recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the college has proven its focus on quality teacher training by providing the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme. The college admits 800 students in total and has a staff of 13 teachers, therefore, Noble College of Education offers students an intimate learning experience.

Noble College of Education has a number of infrastructural installations aimed at improving the learning rates of the colleges’ learners. A lot of reference materials available with reading room facility and updated books, journals and periodicals meeting the academic needs of the students. The college understands and embraces the use of technology in current learning and has factored computer education as part of the programme. Several learning laboratories located in departments of the institution enrich the students’ experiences. Female students are provided a well-furnished hostel with canteen to protect the college girl’s chastity and provide them a comfortable stay. They also have a gymnasium, sports facilities and an auditorium, where children may develop other skills outside the curriculum. A cafeteria is also provided to serve the dietary requirements of the students and the staffs. The college has also ensured that students are aware of medical emergencies through offering them Basic First Respondent Training offered by local authorities.

Noble College of Education currently offers one full-time course, the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme. This two-year programme has an approved intake of one hundred (100) students and this is in consonance with the college’s mission of offering quality education in small classes. This course work promises to prepare students to fit the teaching profession by providing them with the right knowledge and skills. This means that it is producing adequate numbers of graduates to meet the employment market and hence a consistent student body as seen by its total enrolment which equals its intake capacity.

The admission policy of Noble College of Education is very much in line with the policy of Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. Out of total 100 admissions, 85% admissions are for Himachal Bonafide and rest 15% for other states. This policy will guarantee that a school enrols diverse students but at the same time, those who come from within the society.
