About NOVA College of Engineering and Technology, Jangareddygudem
NOVA College of Engineering and Technology, Jangareddygudem, came into existence in the year 2001 as an affiliated college in West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh. This institution has been approved by AICTE and runs varied courses under the banner of Engineering and Management. Located on a vast 13-acre campus, NOVA College has a total student enrolment of 153 and a faculty strength of 83.
It is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK) and approved by AICTE. The institute is dedicated to providing students with an all-rounded learning environment aided by state-of-the-art facilities. The laboratories are fully equipped, and there is a spacious library with an immense collection of books and journals. There is also a facility for e-library access. Other facilities include a boys' hostel that can accommodate 450 students and a girls' hostel that can accommodate 250 students. The NOVA College campus has all facilities for the all-round development of the students, including a gym, sports, and an auditorium in which cultural programmes and seminars are conducted. The college also maintains a health centre with first-aid facilities for the students' health.
NOVA College of Engineering and Technology has a diverse academic programme catering to the different interests of students. In total, the college offers 18 courses, ranging from undergraduate to postgraduate courses. The undergraduate programmes offered by the institution are: B.Tech in streams of Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, and Agricultural Engineering. At the postgraduate level, the college offers M.Tech in specialisations such as Computer Science and Engineering, VLSI Design, Machine Design, and Power Electronics and Drives. Besides this, the institute offers an MBA course to those students who want to pursue their studies in management. All its courses are full-time, with emphasis on practical and industry-oriented study.
