About Nova College of Pharmacy, Lucknow

Nova College of Pharmacy is relatively new in the field of diploma and is located in Lucknow, India, started in 2019. This institution is situated in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, and is focused on delivering the best of education in the stream of pharmacy. At this time, Nova College of Pharmacy has two programmes, one of which is a Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) programme, which lays the base of the college. This is a course that takes two years to complete in which students are taken through all aspects of pharmaceutical science and practice. The college has an enrolment capacity of 60 for this programme and this college has a good strength of faculty so that students will get more personal attention and facility for group discussions.

Nova College of Pharmacy in Lucknow is a recent entrant in the field of pharmacy education and hence is much focused on the quality of education. The admission procedure for Nova College of Pharmacy is simple and open for all aspiring pharmacy students. Two major programs are conducted at the college: Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) and Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma). Students get admission through a variety of pathways including state-level entrance examinations, management quota, and direct admission through institution-level entrance examination.

The eligibility criteria for both programs are also similar; a student should have completed 10+2 with subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) or with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB). The admission cycle usually runs in conjunction with the academic year, which commonly starts around August-September. Application Process

  2. Management quota
  3. Direct admission through institution-level entrance examination

Eligibility for D.Pharma is: 10+2 with a minimum percentage of 50% (for reserved categories: 45%) in PCM/PCB subjects.

The Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) is also offered at the Nova College of Pharmacy. The admission process for B.Pharma is:

  1. Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE)
  2. Management quota
  3. Direct admission through institution-level entrance examination

Eligibility for B.Pharma is: 10+2 with a minimum percentage of 50% (for reserved categories: 45%) in PCM/PCB subjects.

Both programs exist to provide an expansive pharmaceutical education oriented toward the practice of pharmacy to prepare students for successful careers in the pharmacy field.
