NS College of Education, Sonipat, was founded in 2007 and ever since then, it has been one of the beacons of excellence in the sphere of education in Haryana, India. This co-ed College is located near Kalupur Chungi. Its aim is to groom future educators. The teachers' training institute is an affiliated College, and its enrollment consists of 258 students and 6 faculty members. The affiliation with the National Council for Teacher Education has taken its much-envisioned program of qualitative teacher education.

NS College of Education has a compact campus area of 0.788 acres, which offers students a focused learning environment. NS College of Education handles its admissions adopting a merit policy. The college may also follow other processes or procedures for selection as laid down by the state government, UT administration, or the affiliated university.

For admissions in D.Ed. programs, these admissions are conducted on a merit basis, with merit calculated based on the marks acquired in the qualifying examination and/or the entrance examination prescribed by the State Government or UT Administration. This is another way to ensure that only the most qualified and committed candidates are selected for the teacher training programs.

Application Process

  1. Notification: The college announces commencement of admissions through different media channels.

  2. Application Form: Interested candidates will have to get the application and fill it up. It may be available either online or offline at the college.

  3. Document Submission: Candidates must submit all necessary documents with the completed application form. These include:

    • Mark sheets of qualifying examinations

    • Valid ID proof

    • Recent passport-size photographs

    • Any other certificates or documents specified by the college or regulatory authorities

  4. Entrance Examination: Depending on the program and current admission policies, candidates may need to present themselves for the entrance examination. Syllabus and pattern of this examination would be communicated by college or conducting authority from then on.

  7. Fee Payment: Selected candidates will pay a certain fee to confirm the admissions, for instance, Rs. 88,000 for B.Ed. and Rs. 51,600 for D.Ed.

  8. Document Verification: All submitted documents will then be verified by the college before finalizing the admission.

Degree-Wise Admission Process

  • B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education):
    The B.Ed course is a full-time 2-year course aiming to produce trained teachers for the secondary and higher secondary school levels. It is based on merit obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The college offers 100 seats in this program. The total fees for the B.Ed. Program is Rs. 88,000.

  • D.Ed. (Diploma in Education):
    This two-year D.Ed. program is targeted at individuals as future educators at the elementary level. Admission under this program is determined on the basis of merit obtained in qualifying examinations and/or entrance examinations prescribed by the State Government or UT Administration. The college has 50 seats under the D.Ed. program with a total fee structure of Rs. 51,600.
