36 MonthsBachelor of Science in Mathematics is a full-time three-year undergraduate degree course offered by Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam.
The Department of Mathematics started in 1952, offered only undergraduate courses for a while. Under the able guidance of Prof. P.U. Krishna Warrier an eminent Mathematician and a famous astronomer. Mathematics department prospered well and it was in the year 1964 that it started offering the postgraduate course. Imparting Mathematical knowledge to interested students and to induce interest in others are the main goals of the department. The department has 8 permanent faculty members.
Eligibility Criteria
A person, who has passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) with science stream or any other examination recognized as equivalent there to, shall be eligible for the course.
Admission Details
- Students are admitted at the beginning of the first semester of the U.G. Courses.
- All the merit admissions are through M.G. University Centralized Allotment process.
