Om Sai Institute of Paramedical Sciences is a young growing institution situated in Baripada Odisha, which has started its journey in pharmacy education and training in the beginning of 2017. This co-educational institute, established on merely one-acre portion of the city, is an affiliated college recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). Although it has been started recently, Om Sai Institute has grown up to the expectations of offering quality education in pharmaceutical sciences by offering two post graduate specialised course with total enrolment capacity of 21 students with two dedicated faculty members.

Om Sai Institute of Paramedical Sciences, Baripada is affiliated with the college Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Rourkela. Om Sai Institute of Paramedical Sciences  thus boasts to offer its students with the total package learning just as a preparatory institute. The campus includes a variety of well-equipped structures that would improve the quality of education. A library is an essential source of information; to that end, adequate supply of literature and research materials benefits the student well. For practical classes the college has departmental based laboratories incorporating new instruments and tools enabling students to gain much needed practical experience relevant to the college of pharmacy. The institute also understands that integrated student development is another aspect of the students’ holistic development this is so because the institute has embraced the provision of sporting facilities to enhance students’ health and fitness in addition to the teachers’ effort in nurturing the learners.

Om Sai Institute of Paramedical Sciences offers two primary courses in the field of pharmacy: A four-year Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) Programme and a Two-year Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) Programme. Each of the programmes is a full-time, campus-based courses aimed at offering education in pharmaceutical sciences. The D.Pharma programme is approved to get an intake of 60 students for this particular academic year.
