The eligibility criteria for the diploma programme is passing the 10th grade with a minimum of 35% with science and maths subjects  from any recognised board. • Students have to pay the counselling fee for the choice-filling round.

• Provisional admission is offered to the candidates (prior to final results and document submission).

The institute offers B.Tech degrees in 5 branches viz. Civil, Mechanical, Computer, Electrical & Electronics, and Electronics & Communication. The course duration is 4 years. Applicants who wish to apply for the B.Tech programme must match the eligibility before applying. The eligibility criteria for the B.Tech programme is passing the 10+2 with a minimum 45% marks(40% for reserved category) with science subjects. Flexibility as per NEP and Bridge Courses: Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, Biology, Informatics Practices, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subjects, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, Business Studies, Entrepreneurship. (Any of the THREE) with suitable bridge courses offered by the university such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering Drawing etc. [As per state/central govt. norms]. The admission process for the B.Tech programme is based on the national level entrance examination i.e., JEE Mains conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) OR through the MP DTE counselling which takes into consideration the class 12th marks.
