The Orissa School of Engineering, Ganjam (OSE) being a technical institution was established in the year 2009. This affiliated college is situated in Berhampur, Odisha and it occupies 5.04 acre land where budding engineers find a home. Sanctioned by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) OSE has rendered its quality technical education recognisable. The institute has total student enrolment of 374 and has a faculty of 24 members which enhances the teaching learning process. OSE has currently four diploma programmes in different branches of engineering for the students to choose from as he said that the interest of the students differs as well as the demand of the market.

Orissa School of Engineering is equipped with a number of state of art facilities that improve learning and development of students. Furthermore, there is always updated rich library which contains; technical book facility, journals, and reference facility across all the courses. Modern technology is incorporated in laboratory and practical section which exposes the students to virtually all the practical aspects in the field.Laboratories and practical sections equipped with latest technology to give practical knowledge base on theoretical knowledge imparted in class. OSE respects the necessity of keeping a balanced schedule and provides best conditions for sports, suggesting students to participate in various sport activities. It likewise has a gymnasium which is very much in sync with the aesthetic architecture; waging the physical fight against health dwindling. OSE hosts students that need special consideration in different able-bodied hostels for boys and girls to enhance their comfort and security.

Orissa School of Engineering, Ganjam in sum provides four full time diploma courses where each of them takes three years to complete. The courses offered are Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering. These programmes focus on the major engineering disciplines so that students will have a good grounding on their chosen fields. The capacity for admissions approved by BS-App, for all taught programme offerings of the institute is as follows: 165, thus claiming to keep optimal seats ratio, between student and faculty for teaching-learning facilitation.
