PA College of Education for men and women was established in the year 2009 located at Pollachi as a teacher training college. It is affiliated college in Tamil Nadu, India and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The college is established on a limited space of 2.84 acres area and at present, the college has 191 enrolled students and 13 teachers. The facilities available for students learning at PA College of Education includes two school halls, one gymnasium, one basketball/netball court, and laboratory to support the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree programme for which the college has been approved to admit 100 students. As a College, PA College of Education offers only one course, the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme. This is a two years full time course that prepares students for teaching profession. The college further embraces a specialisation in teacher education with a well equipped science laboratory, psychology laboratory with modern instruments for psychological experiments and an educational technology laboratory with installing sound visualizes for presentations in class.
