Pacific College of Pharmacy which was set up in 2006 is a constituent college and is situated in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India. This is a co-educational institution is located in a 2.5 acre campus and it is PCI approved. The college teaches six courses at four levels of degree; diploma, degree, master’s, and doctor of philosophy in pharmacy. The institute has a faculty of 29 members and offers the specialised programmes in Pharmacology,Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance. Pacific College of Pharmacy is thus, a prestigious institution of learning, in the field of pharmacy and with an aim to produce competent professional in this field to play and excel in the great field of the pharmaceutical industry.

Pacific College of Pharmacy has provided different schools with essential facilities and amenities to meet the students’ needs. About 3800 verified books related to academic and professional fields, and fifteen national and international journals subscribed to are located in the library that is the core facility of the institution. There is also online journals that students avail to make them up to date on the current researches and developments in the field of pharmacy. Lecture theatres and tutorial rooms available effectively accompanied by the required apparatus for drug extraction and identification techniques such as soxhlet apparatus and chromatographic instruments. To assure students’ requirement of accommodation is met, separate hostels for boys and girls with RO plants for safe drinking water provision, professional caterers, and round the clock power back up facility are available. There are needed IT facilities, transport amenities and services, a canteen and dining services, sports and recreational services, an auditorium for seminars and other gatherings, health care services and fully-equipped gym for students’ health improvement.

Pacific College of Pharmacy is committed to provide a list of pharmacy courses to fulfill the need at every educational level. There are 6 full time courses offered by the institute at all the levels of study. Such programmes include diploma (D.Pharma) undergraduate (B.Pharma), masters (M.Pharma in Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, and Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance), and a doctorate (Ph.D. in Pharmacy). The college has a total intake capacity of 192 students for the courses and 60 seats each for D.Pharma and B.Pharma, 6 for each of M.Pharma pharmacology and pharmaceutical Quality assurance. This diverse programmes allows the student to have a focused area of specialisation in the area of pharmacy.

As for the eligibility criteria for M.Pharma programmes, the candidate must have passed B.Pharm degree from a recognised university. First preference is given to only those candidates who have passed Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT).
