Established in the year 2012, Pakuahat Teachers Education College is a co-educational institution located in Pakuahat, West Bengal. This affiliated college, under the recognition of NCTE, is an institution specializing in teacher education. Within a compact area of 0.73 acres, there are two full-time courses with a total enrollment capacity of 150 students. With a faculty strength of 25 dedicated teachers in its fold, Pakuahat Teachers Education College can boast of a conducive student-to-teacher ratio whereby individuals aspiring to become teachers get proper personalised attention and quality education.

The institution provides many facilities that further enhance the process of learning and all-round development of the students. The library is well equipped with more than 3,500 books and has a spacious reading room with the capacity for as many as 100 students to study together. Pakuahat Teachers Education College offers two comprehensive teacher training programs: one at the degree level, being the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), and another at the diploma level, being the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed), both are full-time courses with a span of two years each. 

The admission to Pakuahat Teachers Education College is based on merit, with marks in qualifying as well as entrance examinations. The college follows the admission policy adopted/enacted from time to time by the state government of West Bengal and the affiliated university. The students seeking admission to the B.Ed. course shall be selected on the basis of the qualifying examination, entrance examination, or any other selection process as prescribed by the state government or UT administration.
